What do you do with old lead-acid batteries?

I’m about to install one of the Epoch LiFePO4 kits on my ClubCar DS but what can I do with the old lead acid batteries that are shot? Are they worth anything?

Take them to any autoparts store and get a core charge return fee.

Thanks! I guess I thought that only worked if you bought your new batteries at the same place.

Depends on the stores in your area. Some will give you credit, some will just take them to recycle, but no credit.

I ended up taking mine to a local golf cart repair shop and just gave them to him. The owner told me, he gets a discount/core return credit. support local
